lately i've finished my 52 weeks project (a new project/picture every single week for a year). can't believe a year has passed (and it has been an absolutely excellent one, i have to add). i've posted the project on facebook: [link].

today I've been fortunate to receive my second daily deviation! it's a picture of one of my friends (and model), asta, shot in lønstrup near the west coast in denmark.

extremely overwhelmed and happy! thank you so much. this really made my day.

summer vacations are finally here! soon hitting roskilde festival, lithuania and italy. july will be an amazing month. can't wait to spend time with my best friends, my family and share precious moments with them. looking forward to:

- bon iver, jack white, the cure and björk on roskilde festival
- drink wine and eat real italian pizza with my favourite girls in abruzzo
- spend days at the beach in lithuania
- shoot new places and new people
- good ice-cream
- live in a tent for nine days
- bonfires on the beach
- read good books, currently 1Q84, haruki murakami
- partying in rome
- listen to jazz in copenhagen
- no worries and freedom

if you could travel anywhere, where would you go? only one place!

first, thank you so much for the support. it fills me with happiness, makes me smile several times a day and motivates me to keep going.

summertime's supposed to be here. it's cold and windy in denmark though. my motivation regarding required school work is long gone. I think it went away last wednesday and I have no idea were it went. after shooting seven jobs in eight days, everything seemed chaotic. moreover the school year is soon to be finished, the final grades can't be changed and currently just waiting for the exam announcements. perhaps a little apathetic, but still happier than ever. everything feels unstructured, but never has my head been filled with so much inspiration. amazing artists, bizarre subjects, interesting techniques and the desire to create something new. shooting two personal projects in the week ahead, and I can't describe how much I want it. it's been way too long, too many jobs and too much dull editing. art, please, that's what I'm longing for.

Hi dear deviants,

I hope you're all enjoying christmas time! I really am. I love December - although I hate the other winther months; January, February are terrible. Not enough light to shoot and usually feeling completely uninspired.

On to some more positive news.. I won the highly commended award in the fantastic competition Environmental Photographer of the Year 2011 with my picture "Black Beauty"!
I'm extremely proud and happy! I went to London to see the exhibition and the private view.

Now I am back home in Denmark and holidays are right around the corner! Can't wait. Looking forward to having time for planning shoots and spending christmas with my friends and family.

I hope you're all good! I have been quite busy lately - shoots, school, sports.. yeah - and tomorrow is my birthday! I have many photography projects going on right now and I absolutely love it! I'm currently doing a 52 weeks project, which an idea/concept every week.

Hi everybody!

Yesterday I went to the Danish capital, Copenhagen, to assist one of Denmark's absolutely greatest and most famous photographers, Signe Vilstrup (www.signevilstrup.dk) on a shoot for ELLE Magazine. It was truly an amazing experience! She is extremely professional and talented, so it was so inspiring to see her work! Now I'm looking forward to buy the November issue of ELLE to see the shoot on print!

Tomorrow I'm going back to school - woah, I'll be so busy! The day after tomorrow I will be shooting a professional male model from another Danish city, Aarhus and on Saturday I will be shooting a gorgeous girl by a fantastic lake! Looking forward to that!

Hello dear folks!

I've been spending a lot of time recently shooting, editing and online on photography networks. Primarily I've been doing personal work, but I also shot a wedding a few days ago. In a few days I'm off to Lithuania for two weeks. I'll be travelling with my best friend (and model on a lot of my photos) Kathrine ([link]. It'll be absolutely great! Can't wait.

I hope you're all enjoying the summer. I'm so pleased with having time to do lots of shoots! Shot beautiful Asta ([link] a few days ago and yesterday I shot the gorgeous blogger from Denmark Anne-Sofie ([link] in a stormy weather - which resulted in a water damage on my Canon 5d mrk II. Unfortunately I can't use it right now, but I still hope it will dry. If not, I'll start using my Canon 7d.

Also, I received a premium membership today! Wow, that's absolutely amazing. Thank you so much!!
